7. How do I schedule a consultation with PEN Consultancy?

8. What is the payment policy at PEN Consultancy and how can I pay for a consultation?

Payment should be received 24 hours prior to the scheduled session otherwise unpaid scheduled sessions will be canceled, unless a different payment agreement was made in writing between us and the client. Payments can be made via bank transfer and the bank details will be sent via email upon agreement of the session date.

9. Are consultations covered by insurance?

Many insurance providers now offer coverage for telehealth services. It is recommended to check with your insurance company to determine the specific coverage and reimbursement policies for telehealth consultations. At PEN Consultancy, we can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement, where applicable.

10. Can I access telehealth services if I am located outside of Dubai?

Yes, our telehealth services are available to individuals both within and outside of Dubai. We strive to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of location. Please note that some restrictions may apply depending on your specific location and the regulations governing telehealth in your country.

11. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel or reschedule your telehealth consultation. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations. This allows us to accommodate other patients in need of care. Please note that late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

12. How long is a typical telehealth session?

A typical telehealth session at PEN Consultancy is scheduled for approximately 45 minutes. This duration allows our healthcare professionals to thoroughly address your medical concerns, provide comprehensive guidance, and answer any questions you may have.

13. What happens if I miss a session without giving at least 24 hours' notice?

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. However, if you miss a scheduled telehealth session without providing at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation on a working day (Monday through Friday), the session would be charged. We highly recommend notifying us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment to avoid any charges.

14. Will therapy immediately make me feel better?

Therapy is a process that unfolds over time, and the immediate effects can vary for each individual. While therapy provides a supportive space for exploration and growth, it is important to understand that significant changes may not occur immediately.
